DELUSIONS ( Vaham ya Galat Manyata)

Delusion :- A persistent false belief in the face of strong contradictory evidence. It is true for the patient but in reality it is not true.
Patient's' perception for anything is called delusion. For other person that perception may not be true. Whatever the patient thinks, assume is true and real for him but it is not necessary to be the same for doctor or others. Suppose A Person selling icecream in summer. His sell is more become of summer. He will say, 'Today is very good day.’
For the seller of ice cream the 'day' is very good day but for other person working in sun will say, 'It is very worse day.‘
The situation or the day is same for both. But both take it in different ways for one it is good and for other it is worse. But reality is the reality, it is the normal for summer. So the seller is
in delusion.
DELUSION :— Delusion is a false belief of the patient usually expressed in the from of :
(i) Imagination Le. a assumption, a concept, a idea, a thought, thought of something as probable.
(ii) Hallucination i.e. something that is seen, felt or heard When it is not really t ‘here. ‘
(ii) Illusion Le. a false idea or belief, especially about some— thing or situation or something that seems to exist but in fact does not. ' '
