Explanation :- The chaotic person is completely without a sense of order. Everything is in a muddle. Try as he might, he cannot sort himself out, he doesn't know where anything is, or what he is supposed to be doing.
The symptom should not be confused with the lazy attitude of the husband who leaves all his clothes lying around, knowing that his complaisant wife will put them away for him, nor that of the child who lets his mother tidy up his toys. People may be chaotic at any age, but the symptom is most frequently encountered in children. Untidy boys are typical. Their shirts hang out of their trousers, their shoelaces are undone and their hair is disheveled. Their handwriting strays off each line, the pages in their exercise books are dog-eared. They are careless, and are always tripping over things (see 'Heedless'). Chaotic housewives cannot lay their hands on anything when they need it. They may take just a few minutes to jumble up a room that they have spent hours tidying. If patients say that however untidy things are, they ultimately still know where everything is, then one can rule out the symptom. Truly chaotic people are more or less completely confused.
Versions :- A child keeps watching his playmates playing
for sometime. All of a sudden, he throws a stone or something into the pitch to confuse the smooth running of the game and
runs away to escape thrashing.
